What dimensions does Vizcab support?

Today, Vizcab offers an upstream and downstream carbon vision of France's environmental regulatory projects (collective and tertiary) as well as an analysis at company level. The vision is to be able to offer you a platform that also integrates non-regulatory projects, on an international scale: renovation, single-family homes, logistics, etc.

What type of project can Explo be used for?

To date, Explo has been designed for use on new multi-family housing. Eventually, it will be available for all new housing (single-family and multi-family), as well as for commercial and public buildings.

Do I need special expertise to use Explo?

Vizcab Explo has been developed in collaboration with a number of different professions, so that it can be used by all of them: Architects, HQE Engineers, CSR Managers, Program Managers, Property Developers, and so on. We have designed it so that each of these profiles can use it without any particular expertise or training.

What is a macro-component and how do you produce ratios?

This is a set of components, associated with an environmental datum and a quantity that can be taken into account globally in a life cycle analysis study, to define a constructive element, e.g. a wall, a roof, etc.

Their ratios are derived from our internal R&D work, feedback from our databases, and have been validated during beta-testing with our users.

What environmental data do you associate with your macro-components?

These are mainly DED (Default Environmental Data) or Collective and Individual Data when available. You can duplicate one of our macro-components to customize it. We are currently developing a statistical approach based on our datalake, fed by the Vizcab community.

How are prices calculated within your macro-components?

Our prices are obtained by aggregating several existing price databases, then refined with a team of economists. They can be edited by the user within the tool.
