Vizcab's commitment
Vizcab is committed to implementing a Gender Equality Plan (GEP) through a series of concrete actions based on six major objectives:
- Raising awareness of gender equality and unconscious bias
- Improving work-life balance and changing practices,
- Improve gender balance in positions of responsibility,
- Progress towards gender equality in recruitment and career development,
- Promote and support gender mainstreaming in research and innovation,
- Combating sexist and sexual violence.
Key figures for gender equality in the workplace
Gender equality is a daily concern for Vizcab, not forgetting non-binary people.
Today, women represent only 31% of our workforce, compared with 17% on a European and French scale for the tech world (source: Gender scan), which is not satisfactory given our ambition for parity, but it's still almost double.
This is explained in particular by our sector of activity and the fact that of the 72 applications received over the last 6 months for our job vacancies, only 30.50% were from women.
At the same time, over the same period, we recruited 44% women.
Professional Equality Index ?
In order to guarantee fairness in our remuneration policy, regardless of gender, a calculation grid has been created and transparently communicated to all employees.
In addition, each manager has a real-time indicator of the % female/male breakdown in his or her own team. This shows that in the low-carbon engineering lead team, women account for 71%, while in the Sales and Tech-Dev teams they represent 25% and 9% respectively.
Targets?
Achieve 20% female CoDir members by 2025.
What is GEP?
The GEP, as defined by the European Commission, is an official document that brings together a set of commitments and actions aimed at promoting gender equality in an organization through institutional and cultural change.
